Ee i ee i oh!

We loaded up our car this past weekend and set out to tour some of the farms that sell their wares at our local farmers' markets as part of the annual Eastern Triangle Farm Tour. We had no idea what to expect. We picked out three farms in Franklin and Granville counties we thought sounded interesting and hit the road. The weather wasn't great, but we avoided rain for the most part and the kids had a really good time. We ended up only visiting two of the farms we picked because we ran out of time. The first raised mostly poultry and was a small family farm. The second farm had sheep, beef cattle, heritage turkeys, ducks, quail, peafowl, guineas, Berkshire hogs, Amerucana hens, and a Percheron draft horse (which the kids got to ride).
