Sitting Pretty

Paige is sitting up by herself for brief periods these days. She's a bit lazy and would rather lay around, but we're trying to practice with her.

Santa Baby

We visited Santa on December 6th and while Hannah wouldn't go within 10 feet of him, Paige couldn't wait to tell him what she wanted for Christmas.

We Give Thanks

My parents were able to join us for Thanksgiving this year and we had a great week. Hannah, of course, loved the attention and all of the fun things we did. The weather wasn't great, but she and Punkin' still managed to make it to the park and they cooked soup together one day. Hannah and grandma built a gingerbread house together. Of course we all stuffed ourselves on Thanksgiving day. We even managed to sneak in a few great football games while the kids slept! Mostly though, we were reminded of our good fortune and the privilege of just being together.

Paige's Baptism

On November 22nd, we celebrated Paige's baptism with family and friends at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Apex, NC. The weather, which was supposed to be cold and rainy, held off and we had a beautiful day. Paige and Hannah both did a great job during the mass and at lunch afterwards. It was a very special day!

So Long, November

We can't believe that November is over and we haven't been keeping you informed on the goings on here at the Neumann house. So here is our month in review for your viewing pleasure.

We've been to fun parties...
Stuffed turkeys...Got dressed up and dressed down...Been a little silly...Played together...Had fun at school...and visited with grandparents!Paige also got baptized and we celebrated Thanksgiving, but more on that later. Hope you all had as fun in November as we did. It sure was a busy month and December will probably be even busier.

Halloween Fun!

We had four fun filled days of Halloween celebration this year starting with Hannah's school pageant (see below) on Thursday. On Friday we took the girls to Doug's office for a Halloween party and interoffice trick-or-treating.

On Saturday, Hannah invited her good friends Danny and Derek to come and trick-or-treat with her on Halloween. The neighborhood had its annual pizza party in the cul-de-sac that evening. Hannah won "Best Costume" for ages 0-6 (Thanks, Grandma)! It was a beautiful night and the rain held off. The kids made it up and down the entire street and insisted they were not tired when we were finished. Hannah kept saying, "I'm not full of candy", but we cut her off after 3 or 4 pieces anyway.

Finally, on Sunday we had a Halloween themed going away party for our friends Celinda and Chris who will be moving to California. That was the icing on the cake of our Halloween weekend. The kids had a great time playing together and we adults got to talk a little as we frantically kept 9 kids in line. They actually outnumbered us!
