15 Months!

Paige went in for her 15 month check-up today. She is 32 inches long (91%) and weighs 25.75 lbs (87%). She got a clean bill of health from the doctor and two shots (ouch!). Her eating has slowed considerably and the doctor says that her growth will taper off too - we'll see. We are so glad she is a healthy happy baby!

Road Trip!

We traveled to Ohio for a wedding in July. Eight hours in the car each way was a pretty scary prospect, but the kids did remarkably well (thanks to a portable DVD player we borrowed - thanks, T&J!). We had a great time with my parents, Hannah and Paige got to see their friends Nico and Gianna, Hannah got to go to the zoo, and the wedding was beautiful! We even saw some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was an action packed few days and we are still recovering now that we're back in NC. : )

4 Years Old!

It's hard to believe that our little Hannah is 4 years old! We had a party for both girls back in June. We missed Paige's birthday because we moved out of our old house on her birthday, April 20th, so we had a combined party with two cakes and lots of friends for both girls. We didn't have any living room furniture at the time, so we set up party tables in there and filled the basement with about 500 balloons for the kids to play in. It was a crazy party, but I think the kids had fun. We sure did!

Happy 4th!

This should be my last summary post as I am getting my blogging back on track. We had a great month of June in the new house. It was an uphill climb, but we have most of the boxes unpacked and I'm getting my furniture in place so that it's actually feeling like a home and not a big, empty house. So long, June. You ended way too soon!

The kids had fun helping us move in...Hannah took her friend Danny to Sesame Street Live...The girls spent some quality time with Grandma...Hannah stayed cute...Paige kept changing. She stood up in her crib for the first time in June, continued to chew on everything, discovered balloons, and even rode her pony!We celebrated Father's Day...Paige was a splishin' and a splashin'...AND mommy got her master bath wallpapered. No more beige walls!
