Blast from the Past: Slippery Slope

On January 21, 2013 the snow fairies came to Cary, NC to make snow for us to sled on. It's an annual event at Bond Park that sells out fast (it was full when we tried to get tickets last year). Luckily this year we snagged tickets and were able to go with our friends Danny and Derek to enjoy some sledding. It was a pretty warm day that day and the snow quickly melted to form a huge mud puddle at the bottom of the sledding hill. In the eyes of the kids, that made it even better! We were filthy dirty when we headed back to our car, but it was a great time (and the only real snow we got this year).
