Tales of Christmas Past

Christmas was the most stressful yet as far as the kids go. The stakes get a little higher every year as they understand (and expect) more and more. But this year was also the most fun we've had on Christmas morning. Between the school parties, pageants, and teachers gifts, the decorating and dinner parties, and the actual week of Christmas it's a wonder we survived. But as they say, we were "laughing all the way". We had a great time with my family (including my aunt and uncle from FL) and the kids are really missing all of the fun now that it's just old mom around the house these days.

How fortunate we are to have all this. I think my favorite part was putting up all of the cards we received from friends and family. We talked to Hannah about how we'd come to know each family who sent us a card. As Hannah would say "it made my heart glow".

Oh my heavens, it's 2011!

Where have the past few months gone? Well, I haven't been blogging about them, that's for sure. : )

We had a whirlwind end to 2010. Not that I'm complaining. It was chock full of fun, friends, and family. Thanksgiving was extra special this year because the cousins were all together. Hannah, Paige and Abigail were the three little musketeers that week. It was such a treat to see them together.
