Valentine's Party

I got to help with a little Valentine's Party at Hannah's school last Thursday. It was so much fun to see the kids pass out their little cards. They decorated cookies and played a few games as well. Happy Valentine's Day!

Raise the Roof

We got our roof over the past few days. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks to Cindi for helping us pick "weathered wood" for the roof color, as we had no idea what we wanted. We love it!


We are staying in a hotel this week while the floors at our current house are being refinished. It's not ideal, but we are trying to make the most of it. It helps to drive by the new place and see the changes.

We're Seeing Green

They have started the painting process and what a change! It's hard to believe they move so fast.

We've Got the Shakes

Here is the latest photo of the house (taken today) and as you can see we are getting the siding and shakes on the exterior. It's really starting to look like a house now! Thanks to Courtnay for driving over there in the rain with me and the girls today. It's a muddy mess here. I'm so ready for spring! Rumor has it we will get wood floors next week. Until then...

Playing Dress-up

Hannah and Paige have started playing together a little these days. It's really fun to watch. Paige is an extremely good sport about it. I think Hannah views her as her own personal baby doll. The other day Hannah took it upon herself to dress Paige up like a princess.
